Rock singers are admired the world over. Though there are many artists that can sing, there are only few truly great singers of rock music out there. How can you distinguish the truly great from the mediocre? The best are those that you immediately recognize when one of their songs is played on the radio, even if you have never heard the song before.
My sister once said my downfall was in not learning to play the guitar. I disagree. My mistake was in trying to sound like everyone else instead of singing in my own voice; I had no one tell me this, just recently in the past couple of years I finally figured this out. ROCK ON

It's only logical that since my fav band from the seventies was Deep Purple; my favorite singer is Ian Gillan. He had an amazing octave range and I loved his scream it was just like mine.
